Saturday at Tammylee's

Happy Saturday!   Yahoo, I just found out I had my first win on a challenge blog over at Spoon Full of Sugar!  So Excited!

Simple and sweet I think! This card can be used for many occasions by just adding a sentiment.

Crafty Sentiments Challenge Thursday!

Welcome to Thursday!  Today at Crafty Sentiments we are being sponsored by Di's Digi's.  I was fortunate enough to get to work with one of her images.  I am Featuring Heartfelt Daisy Bear.  He is so cute.  I loved him so much I just had to do two projects with him.  Today's challenge is to use two embellishments.  My first project is a card.  I used some striped printed paper to use as a background.  Then I added a strip of brown card stock running left to right.  Then I took pink card stock and punched the 4 corners and the top and bottom with a Martha Steward punch set.  My two embellishments are both made by me.  First you will see a Glass flower and then the word Cherish.  Cherish is one of my "Wire Words"  that I create and sell.   For the image on this card, I colored him with my Prismacolor pencils.  I added a little ink around the edges to muddy it up a bit, and it was done.
My second project was a quick bookmark.  I colored the image with my Copic markers.  I added some gloss and a ribbon for my embellishments.  The bookmark has been laminated for longer use.

I hope that you enjoyed looking at the projects that I created with this lovable image.  To see what the rest of the  team did stop by the challenge blog.  Then stop by every ones blogs and leave some love.

Mygrafico Challenge #59 Slumber Party

Welcome to another Wednesday
with Mygrafico and me. I am really enjoying working on this design team. If you don't know much about Mygrafico you should head on over to the store to see that they have
30 different designers. That means that there is a huge variety of images. Those
30 designers have many stamp sets to choose from. The prices are so reasonable and it seams as if someone is always having a sale. As a DT member I get to work for all those designers, not just one. Today our challenge is to Glitz it up! The set I am featuring here is Slumber Party/Sleepover by Zenware Designs which can be found here at Mygrafico store. I didn't have girls so with boys there wasn't as many sleepovers as girls have.

This is such a fun set. I can see using it a ton for scrapbooking all the fun times with slumber party's. This would also be a great set for making invitations. So that is what I did. It is an invitation to a slumber party. I colored all the images with my Prismacolor pencils. I added glitter to the dress. I added large brads next to the words Slumber Party. The teddy bear has pop dots on the back to give just a little more dimension to the card.

Head on over to the challenge blog to see what the rest of the DT has come up with. Once you have seen every ones projects come up with something on your own and enter it into the challenge the prize is this cool set of stamps, a must for every collection.

Thanks for stopping by and taking time from your busy day to see what I have been up to. Don't forget to leave some love.

Crafty Sentiments Blog Hop Release of Boo Bear & Pat

Happy Saturday Everyone!
I hope that everyone is having a wonderful weekend, I know I am. Wow, it is almost the end of July. I want the rest of the summer to go by slow.... I just hate what comes after. Winter only makes good for a few things in my book and that is more time to be creative and snowmen! As you can tell I am definitely not a winter person. It has been years since my hubby has been able to take any time off in the winter. This year he is going to get to and we will go somewhere warm for at least a week. But it is still summer and the weather outside is wonderful. The flowers and all the critters I see everyday.  My weekend it going great!  Happy Saturday!
I LOVE SUMMER!  Fun, Fun , FUN!
My post today is for Crafty Sentiments. We are releasing some new digi's in Suzette's Crafty Sentiments shop......

So we are having our first blog hop using the new blog hop releases "Pat & Boo Bear" and our theme is "SEA & SUN" with a twist "Anything But A Basic Card". The prize will be a full set of Pat & Boo Bear images shown above. How big is that prize! The winner will be chosen from someone who has done commented on all our blogs and challenge blog, follows blogs, and mentions on their blog about our blog hop. How easy is that.

So my project was a travel journal and bookmark. I used "Pat sitting by water" on my trip journal and "The Mermaid" on the bookmark. I colored both images with my Copic markers. I added some fine glitter to the tail of the mermaid. After finishing the book mark I ran it through my laminater and then punched a whole to add the ribbon.

The travel journal was a bit more work. It has 26 pages with embellishments all throughout. It has plenty of space for photos and journaling your special trip. The book is held together with ribbons knotted on the side. I hope that you enjoyed what I created for the "Sea & Sun" with a twist challenge. Now it is time to stop over at Amber's blog to see what she has created. Don't forget to leave some love.

Here is the order of the blog so if you did not come here from Rebekah's blog please go back to the challenge blog and start there.

Thanks so much for stopping by! I also want to remind everyone that I am giving blog candy out when I reach 50 and 100 followers. It will be a random drawing to include all followers.   I have entered this journal in the following challenges:

Crafty Sentiments Challenge #3

Hoppy Thursday (cause of Flopsy). I was able to spend some creative time yesterday in my studio. I think next time I get a chance I will do some rearranging up there and take some photos so you can all see my work space. I need to decide how to set up my markers and pencils. I keep changing my mind on where I want them.
Well onto today's featured challenge!

I am having so much fun with images that Suzette creates at Crafty Sentiments. Today I have done Flopsy. It is kinda funny to me cause when I was a baby I had a stuffed bunny named Floppy! Kinda close so he reminds me so much of that. So, yep you will see a lot of this bunny named Flopsy from me!
Today is the first image that I am showing that I have colored with my Prismacolor pencils. I just got them and have been playing with them. I think I enjoy them as much as the Copics.
So getting onto the challenge. Today we needed to do a project with 3 different papers. I chose my white card stock for the base, then (1) pink mulberry paper and (2)pink card stock to mat Flopsy on, my (3) paper is the pink patterned paper that runs down the left side. The card still needed a fun embellishment so I found some pink rickrack in my stash and used that on the right side. I am happy how this all went together. So now you need to hop on over to the challenge blog to see what everyone else created. We have such a fun talented team that you are sure to find some wonderful projects there. After you see all the new projects you may want to head over to the store to get an image or two to create something to enter into this challenge. All the rules you need to know are on the challenge blog.

Mygrafico Challenge #58 Summer Sweety Girl

What a Wednesday! Today is the day I can play in my studio and create some fun. I love Wednesday, it is the middle of the work week. Hope your week is going great. Yesterday I spent most of the day in the hospital with my mom. She had a ct scan and had some other tests scheduled. So I was able to do a little coloring while there.

Today I am featuring a set of stamps from Mygrafico called Summer Sweety Girl! Summer Sweety Girl is a set designed by dilek design studio. This stamp set can be found here. You can see the rest of the DT projects at the Mygrafico Challenge Blog.

Today's challenge is an embossing challenge. Which I found a little challenging at first. I was going to use an embossing pen and emboss that way. But then I decided to use my embossing folders and sidekick. So I embossed a cute sign that says sun kissed. Which I think is perfect for this image and card. I really wanted this to be a summery card. Along with the image and colors I used it seams to have worked. The image of Summer Sweety Girl is colored with my Copic markers.
Please stop by the challenge blog to see the rest of the creations from our DT. We have a great DT that have so many different ways of doing things so you are sure to find something to inspire you. Then after you see what the team has done you can creat a card and link it up to the challenge. You could be the winner of this fun set. While you are out and about please leave the team some love, we all need love!

Little Bits Daisy...Bella Digi Studio Challenge Monday

Wow, is it Monday again already? I hope you all had a fun, relaxing weekend. We did the usual BBQ with the family. Mike and I went to Red Lobster on Saturday for lunch. Justin and Ann had given us a gift card for our anniversary and we finally went and used it. I have to say that this time it was great. We had great service and good food. Sunday I got a whole ham from the meat market by our home. I am making pea soup and fried up some just to eat. Superior Meats in Superior WI has the best meats and a huge variety of everything. The weather here has been awesome! I even got a few cards done yesterday. It has been another productive weekend.

So it is Monday and it's time for a wonderful challenge from Bella Digi Studio. If you have not seen the images there you must go over and look at them. We also had a bunch of new releases just last week. Daphne has really outdone herself. Little Bits Daisy can be found here.

Today's challenge is to use and fairy or girl. I knew that I had to choose Little Bits Daisy for this. As you can see she is so cute sitting on the flower.

I colored Daisy with my Copic markers. I added very fine glitter to the flower petals. I love this background paper as it gives it a feeling that Daisy is sitting in a friendly jungle. I know a friendly jungle...well this is how I see it. Hope you like her.

So what do you think?

You must stop by and see all the other creations from our design team. Get some inspiration and then add your card to the challenge on the challenge blog.

We love to see what you can create with these fun images.

Till next time....Happy Stamping!

Whimsy Flora Elements 1 & blog candy

Here is a wonderful card that I did for Mygrafico! It is from a set called Whimsy Flora Elements 1 . Great images From Mujka Design!

I used mint green striped printed paper and then light pink mulberry paper. I took a flower ribbon that had both mint green and pink on it and put that on the edge of both papers. I framed my image in pink card stock and added three green jewel brads to finish my card off. The image was colored with my copic markers.

Simple and sweet I think! This card can be used for many occasions by just adding a sentiment.

Hope that you like my creation for today.

Here is some fun candy . I happened to find it in my blog travels. So go have a look at what she is all giving away.

I will also be offering blog candy to my 50th and 100th follower. My blog candy will be a fun surprise.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Thursday Challenge at Crafty Sentiments

Happy Thursday Everyone! We are one more day closer to the weekend. Any fun plans? We will probably have a BBQ with the family. Hoping to get the boat out on Lake Superior for a ride. It has to be really hot with no winds to go out on that lake.

Today is another challenge brought to you by Crafty Sensations. This week we have a sponsor Louby Loo. She will be giving a $10 gift certificate for the winner of the challenge this week. Find all the official rules on the challenge blog!

For this weeks challenge we have some of the team working on Louby Loo images and the other DT Members working on Crafty Sentiments images. I was asked to work on Louby Loo's and she has so many fun images. I had so much fun with it I did two cards. We also had a color challenge which included three colors yellow, green and brown.

I have used the image Scrubbie Ted in both my cards. They first card has many fun layers to it. I started out with a white card then added printed yellow paper for a background. I then took Scrubbie Ted and colored him with my Copic markers. I cut his image out and attached him with pop dots to a textured green paper. I then added that to a yellow and then green card stock mats. To finish him off I added a polka dotted yellow ribbon.

My next card is again started with a white card. I Colored Scrubbie Ted with my Copics. I added him to yellow card stock and then added a green card stock with the edge of one side border punched. I added another strip of green card stock with both edges punched and added a stamped message to it. Let's Get together. This card has a simple and clean feeling to it.

Hope that you liked my creations for this weeks challenge. To see what else the DT members have come up with stop by there blogs. Don't forget to give them a little love. We all need love. Here are the links to all the gals on the team.

Challenge #57 For Mygrafico

Welcome to Wednesday we are midweek hope that the weekend will be nice. Was thinking of having a garage sale at my house Thursday and Friday. I have so much stuff left over from the one a few weeks ago. Stopped at the meat market yesterday and got an unbelievable deal on fillet minong! So we grilled again for dinner, dang my hubby can cook!

Today I am featuring our challenge over at Mygrafico. The challenge was to be Paper pierced using the fun set of stamps called On the Line Stamps by Lindsay's Stamp Stuff . This is such a cute set and can be used for many different kinds of cards.

I have chosen to do a baby girl card as one of my Friends is having a baby girl in the next few weeks. I chose to use the line with the birds and also the diapers. I printed everything out and then cut the line out and matted it on the pink paper. I then colored the diapers with my Copic markers. Next step was to cut them out and attach them to the line. I used a sizzlets die to create the baby girl wording. I used the heart on the wording to dot the I instead of the little dot.

For more inspiration head on over to the Mygrafico Challenge and see what everyone else has come up with. Stop by the DT blogs and leave them all some love.

Here are the links to all the gals on the Design Team. They would love to hear from you.

Glass Flowers made easy

Hi all, it is Tammylee again today to share another Technique Tuesday with you. This week I have chosen to show you a fun and easy way to make your own glass looking flowers.

So first I will show you most of the supplies that you will need. I have my melting pot, Utee (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel), my flower punch, small paint brush, few scraps of paper, a piece of vellum not shown are fabric flowers, Stampin Up markers, embossing pad, tweezers, crystal lacquer and heat gun.

The first thing to do it to turn on the melting pot to get the UTEE hot. Then while that is getting hot you can start punching your flowers. Here I have punched a bunch of vellum ones and two from different colored card stock. I next take my Stampin Up markers and color the center only on the daisy's. Even the most vibrant colors will mellow out a little so go wild here. You can even color the entire flower, if you want. With the paper daisy's I curl up the ends a little with the paint brush end. Next step is to drop three of the daisy's into the melting pot. I do three so that they don't get close to each other. To make it easier to take them out you can use the plastic tweezers that you can purchase for the melting pot and rub it in an embossing pad. You will find this helps so the flowers don't stick to much. If they do don't worry.

Next I take the fabric flowers and do the same thing. I let them all dry. I use the daisy's individually for projects or even double them up for a fun texture look.

After the fabric flowers are finished drying (this only takes a minute) I take crystal lacquer and put a small amount in the center of my bottom flower. I repeat this once more in the middle flower to attach my top flower. You can use any adhesive that works for you. I find this works well, and then just heat set with my heat gun.

Once they are set they are good to go. I have completed two different flowers for you here. You can even add a little bling in the center if you wish.

You can use any color combination and any size flowers. You can add as many layers as you like. Once you start making these you will be addicted.

Here is a photo of the 4 flowers together.

I hoped you enjoyed this technique. Thank you for stopping by!

Challenge Monday at Bella Digi Studio

Hi all and welcome to another Monday morning. I hope that everyone had a great weekend. I had my son Justin over to BBQ one night. The weather was great. It rained a little on Saturday afternoon, but the evening was super. Mike and I had a fire in the fire pit Saturday night. I also found out that the bear that wonders around here has lost one of her cubs. She was here two different days and only had one cub. We don't know if one got lost or killed. I was sad to see the other one missing. But at least the other one is following her close now.
With Monday brings me to another fun challenge over at Bella Digi Studio. This weeks challenge was to use distressing. I suppose I took the easy way out and just distressed my background paper with a sanding block. But, that is really all I wanted to change about this card.

This is one of the new release stamps for today. This is such a great image Friends, I just had to use it. I colored the image with my Copic markers. I added a green laced border, punched with a random punch I have. I layered two flowers and attached them with a brad. I then added some pearls. I was so happy to see the end result and hope you like it too.
Please take some time to stop by the challenge blog to see what everyone else created. After you see all the creations you may have some of your own ideas for a Bella Digi Studio image and a distressing technique. Don't forget to leave some love for everyone. We all love to hear what you think.

Flower Fairy by Primsy Doodles

Happy Friday everyone!

Wow, have we had some incredible weather. It has been a week to use the AC! Mike and I had plans to go to a car show on Wednesday night, but his back was to sore. So being the good wife that I am I stayed home with him.

I was able to create on Wednesday for 5 hours, yep you read that right. I was able to get a ton done.

So, what did I work on? Well, I did this cute flower fairy from Primsy Doodle over at Mygrafico store.

Lisa has so many cute images there to choose from it is hard to just pick a few.

So this is how I did the flower fairy. I first picked out a few papers. I started with the multi colored blue paper. From there I found a blue that would match well. I then used another sheet of white card stock as an accent cause I wanted the border to pop. I colored the image with my Copic Markers. I chose colors of the markers used after making the decision of papers. I added a fabric bow as an embellishment to finish her off.

Want to know what else I created on Wednesday, well you just have to come back next week and see. You will just love it.

Hope you enjoyed visiting today. Have a great weekend. Thanks for stopping!

Crafty Sentiments Challenge #1

Welcome to Thursday everyone! Today I have a cute little guy that we are using for this challenge. This is a challenge for Crafty Sentiments. It is kinda a two part challenge as we have the image to use and a photo to be challenged from. Our first challenge starts today Thursday 8th July at 10 a.m. UK time (4 am Central time) and will finish on Wednesday 14th July at 11.59 p.m. (6 pm Central time)

Our challenge is a color scheme as show below, we would love you to enter our first challenge using Suzette' cute freebies, if you do we will enter you into the prize drawing twice!

Here is the color scheme to be used, very pretty!

So since the photo was of a bedroom and there is a dust ruffle on the bed I wanted to have that on my card as well. I included two Sammy's on the card. I embellished my card with Pink, green and white flowers. As that was the color scheme of the bedroom.

Sammy Snail is painted with paint mixed with powdered chalk. To see how easily this can be done there is a tutorial on my blog. The paint with chalk gives him a little shine.

Hope you enjoyed my card now hop on over to the challenge blog to see what everyone else has been doing. Our first challenge prize will be one of Suzette's new digi's which is not due to be released until the 17th, so come on and enter and be one of the first to get Suzette's beautiful & cute creations!
